Michael and I have been parrot owners for a long time, learning along the way what is good and not so good for our feathered friends.

Since boarding birds (along with other small pets) it has become apparent that a lot of the seed mixes sold in pet shops and supermarkets badged as 'Premium' are definitiely not!

We've researched what is best for the birds in our care found it increasingly difficult to find the quality of food we want and in the smaller quantities we wanted. We only had one cockateil and didn't need 2kg of fruit mix or a kilo of subflower seeds. 

All foods deteriiorate. We wouldn't eat stale food so why would we  give it to our parrots?

Hence, we decided to develop our own.
